Peter Zumthor in Mextropoli
Architect Peter Zumthor, winner of the Pritzker Prize 2009, was one of the main invitees of Mextropoli Festival 2017; International Festival of City and Architecture, which took place from the 11th to the 14th of march 2017 in Mexico City. On this ocassion, Peter Zumthor had two official aparitions: the first, in the Casa de Suiza (House of Switzerland) pavilion within the Alameda Central where he held a dialogue with Mexican architect Tatiana Bilbao, and the second one in the Metropolitan Theater where he delivered a lecture about his childhood, the difference between instinct and rationality, as well as the way in which he develops his ideas.
